Sign up for the Little Penguins learn-to-play hockey program Winter 2022 sessions now through December 12.

The program introduces kids ages 5-9 to hockey by providing them with equipment, instruction and on-ice training.  Sessions at the 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown and the North Central Recreation Center in Ebensburg will begin in January and continue through April.

Registration is $140 plus fees and includes skates, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey pants & socks, a helmet (with cage), a stick, an equipment bag and a jersey — all for participants to keep even after the program is completed.  Little Penguins is presented by the NHL and NHLPA with the support of Crosby, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, DICK’S Sporting Goods, CCM and USA Hockey.

Equipment sizes must be submitted during registration.  Please utilize the Equipment Fit Guide to determine sizes PRIOR to registering. Equipment sizes cannot be changed once submitted.  Equipment pickup will take place on a specified date at the DICK’S Sporting Goods location selected during participant registration. Please double check selected location, as it cannot be changed.
