The Pennsylvania County News is published six times a year by the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. The report gives details of the events on how the Cambria County War Memorial and Johnstown earned the title being the first Kraft Hockeyville USA. “This whole process was a total team effort, a collaboration of everybody working together, not just in the local community but the entire region,” said President Commissioner Thomas Chernisky. “It shows that by working together as a team, we can do a lot of great things for our community and region.” The article also shares that the game attracted marquee member of the NBC Sports Network team and a capacity crowd. “Kraft Hockeyville continues to bring national attention to the City of Johnstown and the War Memorial Arena, and that is good for our region,” said Commissioner BJ Smith.
